As we make Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability generally available today, see how Grupo Bimbo, the world’s largest baking company, is already using the platform to help achieve net zero carbon emissions, one of its key sustainability goals.
The identity ecosystem is evolving and requires a complete new trust fabric for our increasingly interconnected world. To bring this to life, we’re introducing Microsoft Entra, a new product family encompassing our identity and access capabilities.
We used to design our security and access frameworks like castles – build walls around the digital perimeter and a gate to let the right people in. But today, organizations are too decentralized for walls, and there are too many digital interactions to play gatekeeper. We need a model that enables trust, not restricts access, creates friction, and holds back innovation.
That’s why I’m so excited to introduce Microsoft Entra, our new portfolio for identity and access solutions. I believe identity should be an entryway into new possibilities by securing access to everything, for everyone. Think of what we can achieve when we secure access and trust every digital interaction.
We believe working on apps in meetings should be multiplayer, and at #MSBuild, we’re introducing new ways for developers to build rich, collaborative experiences using the power of the Microsoft Graph and Teams.
Everything we’re showing at #MSBuild is about providing the richest platforms and tools to empower developers and help them break free of arbitrary restrictions and remove friction, so they can reach every person and every corner of the planet: https://lnkd.in/guCCQhEF
From developer flow to the metaverse, I highlighted 10 technologies at #MSBuild that are coming together as one powerful platform to help developers build what’s next. You can watch my keynote here: https://lnkd.in/guCCQhEF
This Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we reaffirm our commitment to help create a more inclusive and accessible workplace, society, and world for the more than 1 billion people with disabilities.
Today we celebrate the 11th annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day (#GAAD). As Caroline Casey said at #AbilitySummit last week, “”We’re seeing a move since the pandemic.. recognition from businesses that #accessibility is not a ‘niche’ issue for people with disabilities, it’s an issue that needs to be completely invested in for communication for consumers and employees”.
We couldn’t agree more. Proud that accessibility is part of our culture here at Microsoft. Here’s more on our journey to bridge the disability divide in partnership with disability community and accessibility experts around the world….
