A new roadmap provides insight into what’s coming for Halo Infinite through the rest of 2022.
Network (or online) campaign co-op is currently slated for a late August 2022 launch, alongside an update bringing the ability to replay missions. Forge mode is scheduled to enter beta testing in September 2022, as 343 Industries expresses a desire to get the mode “into your hands sooner rather than later.”

As part of this roadmap, the length of Halo Infinite Season 2 has also been extended. Season 3 is now slated to begin on Nov. 8, 2022. According to 343 Industries head of creative Joseph Staten, the “primary reason” for extending the length of the season is to allow for more quality-of-life updates, while maintaining the health of the development team.
Staten also shared that Season 2 is introducing “multiplayer narrative events” that feature a player’s Spartan in an ongoing storyline, though it’s currently unclear exactly how these events will unfold. Halo Infinite Season 3 is set to include splitscreen co-op, as well as a new Battle Pass, more maps, and more modes.
